Kenny Miller says Rangers are WRONG in trying to ensure Willie Collum doesn’t referee their games. But he insists his former club DO deserve to know the truth from the SFA after VAR-gate at Celtic Park.
The ex-Gers striker was on co-commentary duty for Sky TV during the recent Old Firm game, which Celtic won 2-1. And Miller couldn’t understand why offside lines and pictures from Rangers penalty claim against Alistair Johnston were shown on air half an hour after the incident.Rangers are still raging that Collum, who was on VAR duty, checked for a spot kick and told ref Nick Walsh that Johnston had no case to answer.
The Ibrox club requested to hear the audio from Clydesdale House and last week held showdown talks at Hampden with refs chief Crawford Allan.
They don’t want Collum to officiate at any of their future games but Miller believes they shouldn’t be calling his integrity into question.
