Michael Schneider Variety Editor at Large Pantheon Media Group, the studio formerly known as Asylum Entertainment Group, has tapped producer and marketing vet Kelly Mullen to serve as its head of brands.
Mullen will report to Pantheon Media Group chairman Steve Michaels, who announced the news on Thursday. At Pantheon, which is part of Endeavor’s nonscripted content group, Mullen will work with its more than 20 shingles to find new collaborations, financing and partnership models. “Kelly’s reputation and her relationships within the brand world are unmatched,” Michaels said in a statement. “In the current marketplace, it has never been more important to forge partnerships that fit both a brand’s messaging and a project’s narrative.
She has the unique ability to bridge that gap, allowing more of our content to be creatively financed and greenlit.” Mullen joins from Unilever, where she was global head of entertainment and culture marketing.
While there, she launched the company’s first in-house content studio. Mullen earned awards including Cannes Lions and Clios during her eight-year tenure there, and she worked with platforms such as Apple TV+, Netflix, Peacock, Channel 4 and Roku while creating brand content.
