No wonder Kelly Clarkson dropped this man like a bad habit! According to unearthed court documents, the American Idol winner’s ex Brandon Blackstock was meaner than Simon Cowell ever was, that’s for sure!

The NY Post revealed never-before-seen transcripts from the exes’ bitter legal battle on Tuesday, and it’s way harsh! Kelly explained how she had told her husband — who was also her talent manager, remember — for years how she wanted to be on The Voice.

But she claimed his response was devastating! He told her NBC were “looking for a more sex symbol type.” They didn’t want his wife because they wanted “someone sexy” like Rihanna.
