Keeley Bunker had 'deep bruising' on her face and neck, murder trial hears

A woman had 100 marks on her body when she was found dead in the woods, a murder trial has heard. Jurors were told 20-year-old Keeley Bunker was strangled and did not die as a result of falling and hitting her head.

Wesley Streete accused of her Keeley's murder claimed she fell and hit her head on a gatepost before he tried to massage her chest and neck to get her to breathe.

Streete, of no fixed address and also aged 20, is on trial at Stafford Crown Court, Birmingham Live reports. He is charged with raping and murdering Keeley in the early hours of September 19 last year, after they had returned from a night in Birmingham celebrating the victim's birthday.
