Keegan-Michael Key is shaping up for a busy 2025 as he has two dream projects currently in development. The Emmy winner said he “has a good feeling” about what this year has in store while teasing an upcoming sports project and another in the action genre. “We’ll see how it goes,” he added. “I don’t know how to answer without saying things I can’t say.
If only I could tell you,” Key told People. “I have two projects in development that I’m very excited about,” he noted. “Both are checks on my bucket list.
One goes in the sports world direction and one goes in the action direction, which is very different than a lot of the work that I have done in the past.” In March, Deadline announced Key was cast in the Amazon MGM Studios crime thriller Play Dirty, based on Donald E.
Westlake’s Parker novels. Directed by Shane Black, the film also stars Mark Wahlberg, LaKeith Stanfield, Rosa Salazar, Tony Shalhoub, Nat Wolff, Chukwudi Iwuji and Thomas Jane.
