Bolton Wanderers have made Australian international Keanu Baccus one of their top summer targets. The English League One side are ready to make a move for the St Mirren star.
Trotters boss Ian Evatt has been impressed with the 25-year-old in his first season in Scotland. Baccus arrived from Western Sydney Wanderers as a relatively unknown but then rocketed himself into the Socceroos’ World Cup squad.
The midfielder has also impressed domestically and was a key figure in Stephen Robinson’s side sealing their first top half finish.
Bolton are amongst a number of English sides who have watched him progress and they are now ready to try and steal a march on their rivals.Baccus is going into the final year of his contract and the Buddies have shown in the past that if the price is right then they will listen to offers.
