The teenager, who has a number of health issues, including Prader-Willi Syndrome, autism and partial blindness, has been cared for his whole life by London's Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Now that he's 18, Harvey has transferred to the Zayed Centre in central London. He was pictured heading there today for a check-up alongside his mum, 42.
Katie, who is still recovering after breaking both of her feet on holiday in Turkey, rode along the path on her newly wrapped neon green mobility scooter.
