KATIE Price risks being slapped with a £20,000 fine from her local council after allegedly failing to clear up her £1.4million mucky mansion.
The 44-year-old star received a written notice about the state of her land back in 2019. She is accused of failing to address council concerns over the “importation of waste material, excavation of land and creation of a riding school” all of which are said to be having “an adverse effect on the character and appearance of the surrounding area”.
According to the notice, “failure to comply” means she’s at risk of “immediate prosecution in the Magistrates Court for which the maximum penalty is £20,000 on summary conviction for a first offence and any subsequent offence”.
A source said: "It's been rolling on for years and it looks as if she hasn't done anything about the state of the grounds. She says it's not her fault but there are parts of the land that are totally un-useable." Katie's rep, and the local council, have been contacted for comment.
