The Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, leaned on the support of the Duchess of Edinburgh, Sophie, during one of the year's most emotional events this weekend.
Kate made a rare appearance at the Remembrance Sunday service at the Cenotaph, signalling her gradual return to Royal duties following her cancer diagnosis.
She observed the wreath-laying ceremony from the balcony of the Foreign Office. With Queen Camilla absent due to a chest infection, Kate was set to stand alone on the central balcony.
However, plans changed and Sophie joined her, moving from her original position with the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester.The two shared a chat and smiles at the start of the event.
