Kate Middleton’s mum Carole looked radiant in pink as she attended Royal Ascot with her husband Michael. The Duchess of Cambridge’s parents dressed up smart for an appearance at the annual horse racing event, which sees both members of the public and royalty alike wear some of their most upmarket fashion pieces for the sporting competition.

Carole, 67, looked elegant in a pink silk shirt dress featuring a tied belt at the waist and pleat detailing down the front. The dress, which is by designer ME+EM, is also a favourite of Kate’s, who wore the same one to meet a five-year-old cancer patient called Mila at Holyrood House in May of last year.

Alongside her dress, Carole also wore a large black fascinator and held a simple clutch bag under her arm, as well as wearing some delicate gold jewellery to finish her look.
