Kate Middleton appears to have taken fashion inspiration from Queen Elizabeth II as she is often seen using a style trick the late monarch was known for using.
Set to grace the thrown herself one day, Kate appears to have already adjusted her wardrobe for when the day comes. The late Queen was known for colour-blocking her outfits to stand out from the crowd, dressing all in one colour when it came to her outfit and accessories, rather than mixing shades.
And following this trend, Kate was dressed head-to-toe in white during her annual Christmas Carol concert last year. While Kate has employed the colour trick from her husband's grandmother, she has put a more neutral twist on it and is often seen in whites and beiges, while the monarch would choose bright colours. "If I wore beige, nobody would know who I am," Queen Elizabeth II once said.
While her bright outfits were for the public to spot her, it was also for safety reasons. "It marks her out immediately of her security team.
