Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, made a rare public appearance as she joined Prince William, King Charles and Queen Camilla at Crathie Church in Scotland.The 42 year old was spotted on Sunday (25 August) in the passenger seat of a car driven by her husband, with their eldest son, Prince George, also seen in the back seat.
King Charles and Queen Camilla were also on their way to the service, while Prince Edward travelled separately. A guard of honour from the Scottish Balaklava company welcomed the monarch upon his arrival.
Crathie Kirk has been a favourite place of worship for the Royal Family during their stays at Balmoral for over a hundred years.
Crathie Kirk was the location of a private service for the royals in September 2022 following the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, and they also attended a Sunday service there in 1997 after the tragic death of Princess Diana.The Princess of Wales has been largely absent from Royal duties this year due to her recovery from an undisclosed form of cancer.
