However, it was quickly confirmed that Kate - who returned home a month ago after spending two weeks in the London Clinic - was not the reason for the cancellation.There were concerns that William - who was due to honour the memory of his godfather, King Constantine - and his sudden withdrawal from the event had something to do with his wife's health.
However, a palace insider quickly assured this wasn't the case and confirmed that the Princess is continuing her recovery at their home in Windsor.
According to the source, "The Princess of Wales continues to be doing well." With this update, it seems like we won't see Kate participating in any Royal functions until after the Easter holidays.The service was to remember King Constantine, who was King Charles' second cousin and passed away on January 10, 2023 when he was 82.
