Ranvir stepped in to host alongside Richard Madeley, who recently took over from Ben Shephard. Mum of two Kate also had to leave her Smooth radio show suddenly on Wednesday just 30 minutes into her slot and her co-host Tina stepped in to cover for her.
But now, Adil Ray and Charlotte Hawkins gave an update on Kate on GMB. They revealed her absence is because she is feeling a bit sick and has lost her voice.
On today's episode (Friday), Charlotte shared that Kate was supposed to be on the show amid just being named one of Britain's 50 most influential women by The Independent.
