Kate Garraway has opened up the 'heartbreak' she feels over her husband Derek Draper's health after his latest hospital visit.
Last week, the Good Morning Britain star told how Derek was in hospital for a planned visit as part of his on-going treatment.
Kate has been open and honest about the highs and lows of her and her family's life ever since the coronavirus pandemic. Derek, a former Labour lobbyist, contracted the virus in March 2020 and was taken to the hospital where he was put in an induced coma.
TV and radio star Kate has previously told how Covid 'wreaked havoc' on Derek's body and he spent just over a year in hospital before returning home in April 2021, where he has needed round-the-clock care ever since. She then went on to explain "He's gotten back in for something that he began last year, which he needed the second part of which will hopefully mean he has more movement, physical fractures.
