Good Morning Britain host Kate Garraway is reportedly planning a trip across the world to find pioneering treatment for her husband Derek Draper.The ITV favourite, 55, has been the prime caregiver to her husband since he faced severe medical complications after contracting long-Covid back in 2020.
Former lobbyist and political adviser Derek, also 55, contracted the virus almost three years ago, having been rushed to hospital in an ambulance, placed on a ventilator and induced into a coma after falling ill in the same March that the UK went into its first national lockdown.
And now, according to Bella magazine, a source has revealed that devoted wife and mother-of-two Kate - who shares daughter Darcey, 16, and son Billy, 13, with Derek - is embarking on a trip with her husband to undergo treatment.
The source explains: "[Kate] is willing to try anything. She’s been looking into a number of experimental medical options around the world and particularly in Mexico in an effort to save him from the devastating effects of Covid-19. "Kate only wants the best for Derek.
