Derek remains in intensive care after being rushed to hospital with coronavirus in March last year, which led to him being placed in a coma.The presenter revealed she is aware that she and her other half could have a "completely different dynamic" in their marriage when it is possible for him to leave hospital.Kate has renovated the ground floor of the home she shares with Derek and their two children, Darcey, 15, and Billy, 11, in order for it to be wheelchair accessible ahead of his possible return.While letting cameras into her house to film the renovations for her ITV documentary Finding Derek, Kate can be heard discussing the future with her.
