Susanna Victoria Reid (born 10 December 1970) is an English television presenter and journalist. Reid was a co-presenter of BBC Breakfast from 2003 until 2014, along with Bill Turnbull and Charlie Stayt.
She has been a co-anchor of Good Morning Britain since 2014, and currently presents the programme alongside Piers Morgan and Ben Shephard.
She finished as a runner-up on the eleventh series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2013. She also presented Sunday Morning Live on BBC and Save Money: Good Food on ITV.
Good Morning Britain star Kate Garraway has shared an emotional update after husband Derek Draper was rushed back to intensive care amid his ongoing health battle after Covid.
GMB co-host Kate has now told fans Derek took a "frightening turn for the worse". It left the TV and radio presenter with no option but to put all work commitments on hold as she rushed to be with her partner who she says was once again "fighting for his life".
But Kate was able to share some good news with fans - updating that Derek's condition appears to be improving. In an emotional post on her Instagram page, she thanked fans for all of their support over the past three weeks. "I have taken some time off @gmb @smoothradio & @garrawaysgoodatuff in the last 3 weeks as Derek’s health took an unexpected & frightening turn for the worse that landed him back in intensive care & fighting for his life - again . "Thanks to the amazing nhs teams & his own extraordinary life force & spirit Derek -please god - is back on the right side of it now." She shared that she would be able to return to work from Monday.
She said: "I'm so looking forward to seeing you all back on GMB from 6 a.m tomorrow & Smooth Radio - hopefully celebrating Lionesses #worldcup win!" Friends and fans were swift to flood the post with more messages of support for Kate and Derek.
