Kate Garraway has been supported by her fans and followers as she revealed that her dad has recently been rushed to the hospital.

The presenter suddenly disappeared from presenting duties on Good Morning Britain sparking concern. Taking to her Instagram account on Wednesday (July 31), Kate shared a touching photo of herself with her father, who had been admitted to the hospital two weeks ago.

The old image, which showed the pair walking in the countryside, both wearing hats and jackets, was accompanied by a person message from the 57-year-old as she wrote: "Hi all - sorry I disappeared from here when my Dad collapsed and was rushed to the hospital 2 weeks ago while having a holiday with my Mum at my brother’s.
