Good Morning Britain has been hit with another complaints over the presenters' questioning of MP Zarah Sultana and Ed Balls interviewing his own wife live on air.

Broadcasting watchdog Ofcom have received 8.419 complaints this week in relation to an episode of the ITV breakfast show which aired on August 5, and 15,621 complaints in total.

While some complaints were related to Ed and his wife, home secretary Yvette Cooper's exchange on air, others were in response to Ed and Kate Garraway's interview with the Labour MP.

During the chat, Sultana said it was important that the government labelled the recent riots and violent disorder across the country as "Islamophobic" as well as racist.
