Kate Ferdinand was reduced to tears after Rio Ferdinand's son Lorenz unveiled a touching birthday tribute on social media for his step mum.

The former TOWIE star celebrated her 29th birthday on Wednesday and had a 'fabulous day' with her husband Rio, 41, and his children Lorenz, 13, Tate, 11, Tia, nine.

Although Kate marked her birthday in lockdown, the tight-knit family ensured that she was showered with plenty of birthday love and had the house decorated with stunning balloons.

Among a number of birthday messages that Kate received throughout the day, was one from Rio's eldest son, Lorenz. In the adorable post, Lorenz shared a stunning family picture alongside a heartfelt birthday wish for his stepmum. "Happy birthday @xkateferdinand love
