Prince William and Kate Middleton are gearing up for a bumper summer holiday with their children - starting with Prince George’s 10th birthday party.
The Prince and Princess of Wales have cleared much of their work calendar over the next six weeks to spend time with George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, a source exclusively told OK!.The family are due to spend time together at Balmoral, in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, as well as in Mustique - a private island in the Caribbean, the insider added.

The source told us: “William and Kate have made it very clear that their children are their priority this summer holiday. They have blocked off much of the summer so that they can spend time with the children in the UK. “There’s also a trip to Balmoral planned along with a foreign holiday to Mustique.” They added that family was set to celebrate George's 10th birthday on Saturday (22 July) in style before enjoying the summer sun abroad. The source said: “William and Kate are very much family orientated so a family birthday bash will be held at Windsor. The King and Camilla are due to attend along with Kate’s parents and family. “There will also be some of George’s friends from school in attendance.” This week, speaking exclusively to OK!, former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond discussed how King Charles would approve of the ‘normal’ way in which the Wales children are being raised.
