The 38-year-old made her debut as an actress in an episode of Sex & The City from 2000 — but even before that role, she faced a lot of critiques: Despite being only 14 at the time of her episode of SATC, she said casting directors across Hollywood could be “very cruel” even when they were “talking about a child”: WTF!
Absolutely WILD… but sadly, not uncommon for early child stars. Luckily for Kat, though, she had a “very strong” will and didn’t take the comments personally.
She said her “attitude” actually helped her push further in the long run: Ha! That’s a great way to look past all the haters.
