Renfrewshire Boxing Club puncher Kash Farooq has carried with him his entire career, picking up bantamweight titles along the way.
And he believes it will see him reach his ultimate goal of fighting for a world title one day in the not too distant future.This Saturday he’ll enter Eddie Hearn’s incredible Matchroom HQ in Essex to face off with Luis Castillo, hoping to add the vacant WBC International Bantam title to his growing collection.The bout also represents the last of his three-fight contract with boxing promotion giants Matchroom, having won the first two fights so far.And while Kash knows the pressure is on to deliver he’s certain his unblinkered focus on the fight in front of him will pay off in the ring once again.
