KASABIAN frontman Tom Meighan has quit the band after 'struggling with personal issues'. In a statement the band said Tom wanted to “concentrate all his energies on getting his life back on track”.
The statement reads: “Tom Meighan is stepping down from Kasabian by mutual consent. "Tom has struggled with personal issues that have affected his behaviour for quite some time and now wants to concentrate all his energies on getting his life back on track. "We will not be commenting further.” The rock band formed in Leicester in 1997 and conquered the charts with five of their six studio albums hitting the no 1 spot.
Back in 2018, the band's creative lead Serge Pizzorno revealed he didn’t want to make another Kasabian record without first.
