Kasabian ex frontman Tom Meighan has apologised for "misleading" fans. The singer, 39, was convicted of assaulting his ex-fiancée Vikki Ager after he pleaded guilty to the domestic abuse charge at Leicester Magistrates Court.
Now the musician has issued a grovelling apology to his fan base after Kasabian hit out at the former bandmate for not being honest about why he quit.
Kasabian confirmed Tom had left the band "by mutual consent" but the star failed to tell fans the reason why he bowed out the limelight.
The former Kasabian singer laid out he would "never knowingly" have misled fans. He wrote: "With regards my statement on Monday, I only wanted to assure everyone that I was in a good place mentally, compared to where I had been.
