Karren Brady admits being 'slung out' Buckingham Palace after meeting late Queen

Karren Brady, 53, has had a very successful career, with The Apprentice star even sitting in the House of Lords and having a leading role behind the scenes of West Ham United FC.The businesswoman has had the privilege of meeting the late Queen on several occasions, with Karren recalling being "slung out" of one of the venues.Karren described the Queen as "simply incredible — inspirational, funny, kind, interesting and interested".The Apprentice aid recalled meeting the Queen for the first time in 2004 at a Women of Achievement Lunch with the likes of J.K Rowling and Margaret Thatcher in attendance.Karren explained: "We watched in awe as she moved across the room, chatting and meeting people."She gave a wry smile.

We had connected."The lunch was due to finish at 2pm but didn’t end until 3pm, by which time she told us we had to leave — I have to admit, I’ve been slung out of worse places."She said she had never heard such noise in the room — us women wouldn’t stop talking," Karren wrote for The Sun.Karren also made a jibe towards Kate Moss as she claimed the model "smoked out of the Palace window".Buckingham Palace released a statement at 6:30pm on Thursday from the new King announcing the Queen's passing.The statement read: "The death of my beloved Mother, Her Majesty The Queen, is a moment of the greatest sadness for me and all members of my family."We mourn profoundly the passing of a cherished Sovereign and a much-loved Mother."I know her loss will be deeply felt throughout the country, the Realms and the Commonwealth, and by countless people around the world."During this period of mourning and change, my family and I will be comforted and sustained by our knowledge of the respect and deep affection in which The Queen.
