Kamala Harris’ Speech Boosts DNC to 26.2 Million Viewers on Final Night
variety.comSelome Hailu The fourth and final night of the Democratic National Convention brought in an average of 26.2 million viewers, boosted by a speech from presidential nominee Kamala Harris, during which viewership peaked at 28.9 million.
That marks a solid improvement from the first three nights’ steady viewership: Nielsen estimated that 20 million people tuned in on Monday, followed by 20.8 million on Tuesday and 20.2 million on Wednesday.
Of the 26.2 million average, 1.4 million were among ages 18-34, up from 968,000 the night before. Each estimate accounts for a wide array of networks.
Monday’s includes ABC, CBS, NBC, Scripps News, Univision, CNN, CNNe, FOX Business, FOX News Channel, MSNBC, Newsmax, NewsNation and PBS, while Tuesday and Wednesday’s included the same minus Univision.
