Kaleb Cooper, the 25 year old rising star of hit show Clarkson’s Farm on Prime Video, has opened up about his dream of one day owning his own piece of farming land.
Kaleb, who is an experienced farmer, has become known for his role as Jeremy Clarkson’s reliable and patient sidekick in the documentary series based at Clarkson’s Diddly Squat Farm in Chipping Norton in the Cotswolds.
Jeremy bought the 1,000 acre farm in 2008, and it was originally farmed by a local villager until his retirement in 2019.The 64 year old former Top Gear presenter then took over the running of the farm and Kaleb, who was already working the land, was hired by Jeremy to assist him – and show his inexperienced boss how to use the equipment and run the farm.
With the first new episodes of season three of the series on Prime Video from Friday 3 May, Kaleb opened up to the Daily Telegraph about the frustrating challenges he faces before he can achieve his dream of farming his own land one day instead of working for Jeremy. “Everything’s going through the roof,” he said of the rising prices farmers have to deal with.
