justjared.comKacey Musgraves hits the red carpet for the 2022 Met Gala on Monday evening (May 2) at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
The 33-year-old Star-Crossed performer stepped out in a black satin gown by Prada that featured a bow across its low cut bodice and lots of jeweled embellishments.
She paired the look with a diamond necklace as well as a black feather fan. The dress code for the event is “Gilded Glamour” and it’s inspired by the Costume Institute’s exhibition, In America: An Anthology of Fashion.
Guests are asked to “embody the grandeur—and perhaps the dichotomy—of Gilded Age New York,” a period that stretched from 1870 to 1890.
