Fashion’s biggest night of the year was held on Monday evening (May 2) at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. The dress code for the event was “Gilded Glamour” and it was inspired by the Costume Institute’s exhibition, In America: An Anthology of Fashion.
Guests are asked to “embody the grandeur—and perhaps the dichotomy—of Gilded Age New York,” a period that stretched from 1870 to 1890.
