Legal action. Justin Bieber sued fans for $20 million after sexual assault accusations. In court documents obtained by Us Weekly on Thursday, June 25, from the Los Angeles Superior Court, the “Sorry” singer filed a defamation lawsuit against two Twitter users who accused him of two cases of sexual assault in 2014 and 2015.
Bieber’s attorneys claimed that the users—who were identified by their first names and Twitter handles, Danielle (@danielleglvn) and Kadi (@itsnotkadi)—”fraudulently schemed to seek attention and fame by maliciously posting despicable, blatantly false, fabricated, defamatory accusations” against the Grammy winner.
