Mats Hummels has opened up on his experiences working under Jurgen Klopp and why he and Pep Guardiola are the best coaches of a generation.
The 31-year-old won two league titles and a German Cup during his spell under Klopp at Borussia Dortmund, and joined Bayern Munich shortly after Guardiola had left for Manchester City.
Hummels has since returned to Dortmund as he looks to win a sixth Bundesliga title, and Lucien Favre’s side remain in the mix as they endure the enforced break.
He told Sport Bild of Premier League leader Klopp: “He is an absolute exception, for me he and Pep Guardiola are the best coaches of the past ten years. “Pep is tactically awesome.
