David Martindale reckons Brendan Rodgers won’t get his Celtic squad spot-on for three more transfer windows.The Livingston boss is a huge admirer of the Celtic gaffer, whose second spell in charge isn’t matching the runaway success of the first.
But Martindale believes Rodgers will be ranked a hit again once he’s recruited more of his type of player. He said: “Brendan has been brilliant for the game here – and he’s still a top manager.“Judge Brendan when he’s maybe had three or four windows and it’s his own team.
Every manager is different. Ange Postecoglou left a very good team but Brendan is his own manager and can only be judged down the line.
He is fighting for the league, is still in the Scottish Cup. And, I don’t care what anyone says, I think it was a fairly successful Champions League group.
