Celtic have reportedly made a "concrete offer" for RKC Waalwijk star Etienne Vaessen with the goalkeeper approaching the end of his contract.
No. 1 Joe Hart has stated that he would be retiring at the end of the season leaving Brendan Rodgers in dire need of a replacement for the new campaign - with Scott Bain also approaching the end of his current deal while third-choice Benjamin Siegirst is firmly out of the Parkhead picture.
According to Dutch outlet Brabants Dagblad the Scottish Premiership champions have already made their move for Vaessen with PSV Eindhoven also interested in a deal this summer.
The 28-year-old is free to speak to other clubs having yet to accept new terms to stay at the relegation-threatened Eredivise side beyond the end of his current deal.
