Zirkzee and Musiala - who were Bayern Munich teammates previously - created a storm on various social media platforms when they were spotted together on holiday in Los Angeles.
New signing Zirkzee, 23, spent five seasons at the Allianz Arena between 2017 and 2022, when he joined Bologna - and that spell in Italy provided the platform for his dream move to Old Trafford.
He was signed by Ineos to provide cover and competition for Rasmus Hojlund in attacking quarters. However, it appears the Dutchman might as well add football agent to his CV.
Zirkzee - who was omitted from United's pre-season tour to the United States due to his involvement at Euro 2024 - found himself close to his new teammates anyway when he headed to California for a break.
