Jordan North has addressed his BBC Radio 1 exit, revealing it was his choice to leave his role on the drivetime show.The radio presenter announced his sudden exit from the broadcaster in February, before revealing he will be joining the Capital Breakfast team in April.
Fans were left concerned after Jordan, 34, suddenly announced his departure from Radio 1, with his replacement - Made in Cheslea's Jamie Laing - confirmed shortly after.
However, he's now explained he chose to leave his role. Jordan opened up on his podcast, Help I Sexted My Boss, which he co-hosts with William Hanson.
William joked that when they began the podcast six years ago Jordan was "unemployed by the BBC". William said: “When we started this, you were unemployed by the BBC and look how far we’ve come in six years!” Laughing, Jordan then added: “I left of my own accord!
