Jon Stewart To Host ‘The Daily Show’ Live After Presidential Debates
deadline.comEXCLUSIVE: Jon Stewart is doing a bit of overtime. The comedian, who hosts The Daily Show on Mondays, is to host two live episodes of the Comedy Central series after the Presidential debates.
He will host the episodes on Thursday, June 27 and Tuesday, September 10 after the debates between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump.
It forms part of The Daily Show’s Indecision 2024 election coverage. As part of this coverage, the show is heading to both the Republican National Convention (RNC) in Milwaukee from July 15-18 and the Democratic National Convention (DNC) in Chicago between August 19-22, where it will tape a full week of shows.
Stewart recently spoke about his return to the show, which has seen its best ratings since 2015, at a recent FYC event in LA.
