John Woo’s ‘Silent Night’ UK release confirmed
thehollywoodnews.comSilent Night UK release. This has been on my mind for a little while as the latest film from Hong Kong action supermodel John Woo has been out in the US since last weekend but there has been little to no hint about when the movie will hit British territory.
Well, now it has been confirmed to be dropping onto Sky Cinema from 23rd December. That’s directly to the streaming/ cable/satellite service bypassing cinemas here.The Silent Night UK release is a little way off but the film scored just $3 million in grosses in its opening weekend stateside on around 1500 screens.
The critical response on Rotten Tomatoes sits at 61% making it just about fresh.The film is Woo’s first American film since 2003’s Paycheck with Ben Affleck and Uma Thurman.
