John Legend, Sheryl Crow & More Join Dawes For ‘I Love L.A.’ Tribute Opening At 67th Grammy Awards

As Hollywood gathered for the 67th Grammy Awards, the festivities started with a tribute to Los Angeles following the recent devastating wildfires.

Following a touching intro from host Trevor Noah, Dawes kicked off the awards show with an upbeat cover of Randy Newman’s ‘I Love L.A.’, for which they were joined onstage by John Legend, Sheryl Crow, Brad Paisley, Brittany Howard and St.

Vincent. At least 25 people died in the Southern California wildfires that broke out this month and caused immeasurable destruction, with more than 105,000 receiving mandatory evacuation orders.

As previously announced, the Grammy Awards telecast will help raise additional funds to support Los Angeles wildfire recovery efforts.
