Joe Swash has lashed out at the decision to axe his Dancing On Ice partner just months after they won the title. Professional skater Alex Murphy revealed that she was “heartbroken” and in “shock” as she announced that her contract had not been renewed for the ITV show.

Despite her victory alongside former EastEnders' star, Alex, 29, will not be returning, which has angered champion Joe who branded it a "terrible decision".
