Joe Jonas has removed a mention of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs in his band DNCE’s hit song ‘Cake By The Ocean’.While performing late last month (September 28) with the Jonas Brothers, Joe performed a rendition of his side project DNCE’s ‘Cake By The Ocean’.

While this is something Joe has typically done at Jonas Brothers shows, the September 28 performance proved to be unique, as it marked the first time that he had altered the song’s lyrics to remove any mention of Diddy in the wake of the rapper’s sexual abuse and assault allegations and ongoing legal proceedings.During the performance – which has only recently gone viral on social media – Jonas reworks the lyric “Walk for me, baby / I’ll be Diddy, you’ll be Naomi” to “Walk for me, baby / I’ll be watching you be Naomi”.The original lyric was in reference to speculation that Diddy had reportedly dated supermodel Naomi Campbell in the 2000s.
