Prolific reality TV producer Troy DeVolld, who worked on Basketball Wives, Dancing With The Stars and Hollywood Game Night, died Oct.
14 in Casselberry, Fla. He was 53. His passing was confirmed by the DeGusipe Funeral Home in Florida. An Ohio native, DeVolld studied fine arts at Flagler College and Full Sail University.
His TV career began in 2000 with a gig on MTV’s Fear. He then began working almost nonstop in the unscripted space on shows like The Osbournes, The Surreal Life, House Rules, The Bachelor, Flipping Out, Who Are You Wearing, Paris Hilton’s My New BFF: Dubai, and She’s Got The Look.
His work on the Basketball Wives franchise began in 2010; he served as a supervising producer and a co-exec producer on both the original and Basketball Wives: LA.
