Jimmy Carter Tribute Programming Planned For ABC & CBS After Former President’s Death
deadline.comAs the nation mourns Jimmy Carter following his death at age 100, networks are planning tributes to the 39th president of the United States.
On Sunday, Lesley Stahl will report on President Carter’s legacy during ‘The Last Minute’ segment of 60 Minutes at 7pm ET/PT on CBS, with a new episode of the podcast 60 MINUTES: A SECOND LOOK – President Carter: Three 60 Minute Interviews available Monday.
Also on Sunday, ABC News will air Jimmy Carter: A Full Life – A Special Edition of 20/20 at 10:01pm ET, available to stream Monday on Hulu.
The one-hour special will reflect on President Carter’s extraordinary life, his rise to the presidency and his continuing legacy, featuring interviews with family members, colleagues, historians and reporters, as well as archival ABC News footage from his life and interviews with Barbara Walters in the White House.
