Jimmy Carter, 100, Casts Ballot For Kamala Harris In 2024 Election

A spokesperson for the Carter Center confirmed that the former president cast his ballot, but provided no other details. The ballot was put in a drop box at the Sumter County Courthouse near Plains, GA, where he lives.
Jason Carter, his grandson, told ABC News this week that the former president planned to vote for Kamala Harris. Jason Carter had said during the summer that his grandfather had a goal of living long enough to vote for Harris.
Carter’s son, Chip, told Atlanta Journal Constitution that his father “absolutely” voted for Harris. His wife, Becky, dropped off the ballot at the dropbox.
