Ireland’s own Jessie Buckley looks set to team up with one of Hollywood’s most renowned directors. Alex Garland shot to fame with his directorial debut Ex Machina which starred Oscar Issac, Alicia Vikander and fellow Irish actor Domhnall Gleeson.
The Sci-Fi flick was a massive hit and even earned Alex an Oscar nod for best original screenplay. Alex is also known for his work on The Beach (having written the novel the DiCaprio film is based on), Dredd (now on Netflix), Let Me Go and 28 Days Later.
His new project, simply titled Men, looks set to see him team up with production company A24, who are responsible for such cult hits as Lady Bird, Moonlight, Euphoria and Midsommar.
