A design by a talented pupil from a primary school in Cambuslang has been chosen as the winner of a competition to create an official Christmas card for the area’s Member of Parliament.Jessica Macleod, aged 10, from St Charles’ primary school, fought off tough competition to claim the top spot in the competition organised by Michael Shanks MP for Rutherglen.The youngster’s creative design of the Cambuslang Miners’ Memorial, decorated with Christmas lights and snowflakes, stood out among many impressive submissions.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
