Jeremy Clarkson has launched his own brand of crisps, which, although very standard British flavours, cost a staggering £38 for 24 packs.

Amid a horrendous cost of living crisis, Diddly Squat crisps are charging £38 for a box of 24, though the brand has emphasised that customers get two free bags per eco-friendly box.

In an advert launched this week, the brand said: “Say it with love, say it with Diddly Crisps. 2 free bags with each box & our packets are 100% biodegradable & plastic free. “Freshly hand cut and absolutely delicious, our Lightly Salted and Cheese and Onion flavours are scrumptious. “There’s no better way to show your love on Valentine’s Day, than with crisps.” In a recent change, the brand also “gone green” with bags that are 100% compostable and plastic free.

As per their website, the brand does not offer a wide range, with the crisps currently coming in cheese and onion or lightly salted.
