Club across Europe have been put on alert by his former with Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag reportedly among his admirers, but reports in Spain suggest Real Madrid are also considering a move in the winter window.
Defensa Central report that the European champions are in pole position for a deal with former Real star Xabi Alonso, who now manages Leverkusen, giving Carlo Ancelotti and his team the inside track on Frimpong.
