Alexander Emmanuel Rodriguez (born July 27, 1975), nicknamed "A-Rod", is an American former professional baseball shortstop and third baseman who played 22 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB).
He played seven seasons with Seattle Mariners, three seasons with the Texas Rangers and twelve seasons with the New York Yankees. Rodriguez began his professional career as one of the sport's most highly touted prospects, and is considered to be one of the greatest baseball players of all time.
People earlier this month that he and Lopez were looking to keep things limited to family for their Christmas celebrations this year. 'I think everything is just going to be smaller.
With COVID, everything is a little different,' he told the outlet. 'Good company, family, good food, a little wine [ that always helps.
Just being together with the family, really that's all that matters. 'The retired slugger noted that he and Lopez are 'always with the four kids' - twins Max and Emme, 12, and his daughters Natasha, 16, and Ella, 12.
Rodriguez added: 'That's number one: We like to play games - we like chess, we like Monopolys - and we like to play softball.
